Compelling Cartography
Building on the success of workshops held in 2010, 2012, and 2014, the New Zealand Cartographic Society presents another exciting two-day Map Design Workshop to be held 29 - 30 August 2016. It will be hosted at Victoria University of Wellington.
MDW'2016 will explore high quality, compelling cartography and focus on the availability of new approaches, techniques, and capabilities of the ESRI ArcGIS Platform. The course will cover a range of cartographic requirements and provide an opportunity to focus on those particular examples or techniques of greatest interest to the attendees.

Immediately following MDW'2016, the eight National Cartographic Conference, GeoCart'2016, will convene from 30 August - 2 September. It will be hosted at the National Library of New Zealand in Wellington.
